Workflows
Automate actions across your stack by connecting Stacker with Zapier.
Connect with Zapier
The Stacker integration on Zapier lets you trigger zaps from your data and send information to other tools. Access is by invitation while we roll out the integration.
- Request access. Email support@stacker.ai to receive a Zapier invitation.
- Create a Zap. In Zapier, start a new Zap and choose Stacker as the app for your trigger or action.
- Open Settings in Stacker. In your Stacker workspace, open the menu in the top right (your account), then select Settings.
- Create an API key. Create a new API key and make sure it is associated with the correct app you want Zapier to use.
- Connect in Zapier. When Zapier shows the connection form, fill in the fields below (see Zapier authentication).
Zapier authentication
The Stacker connection asks for three values. Two of them you enter yourself; the API host is already filled in for cloud Stacker.
- API key. Paste the key you created under Settings → API keys. For more detail, see API Access.
- App slug. In Zapier this field is labeled App slug. It is the segment that identifies your app in the builder URL when you are editing in Stacker: open your app, look at the address bar, and use the part right after your workspace name. For example, if the path looks like
/admin/your-workspace/your-app-slug/…, enteryour-app-slugonly (omit the domain and the/admin/…prefix). Your live portal may appear at a*.outportal.aiaddress for end users; Zapier still needs this builder app slug so calls go to the correct app in the API. - API base URL. Zapier prefills
https://stacker.ai. Leave that default for standard Stacker Cloud. Only change it if your workspace uses a custom API base URL provided by your team.
If you get stuck, contact support@stacker.ai and we can help with the invitation or API key setup.
